Title: Resolving Workplace Conflict

Case Study: This project was created as part of a series of courses for our Leadership Development Program. It's purpose is to provide leaders with the skills needed to help employees work through on the job conflict situations. This was a partner project, in which I was responsible for scripting and storyboarding all video and interactive content, animating and developing Storyline content for the second half of the course, and shared voiceover responsibilities.​

Title: Non-Retail Customer Service Training

Case Study: A current strategic focus for the training department is creating courses focused on job competencies. The Customer Service Training aims to improve the Communicating Effectively capability. This course also represents a shift in culture from customer service being specific to our retail division, to it being a goal across all divisions.
​
Communicating Effectively Competency: Calls attention to issues that impact customer satisfaction; views thing from the perspective of customers; encourages people to think about customers when making decisions.​
​

Title: Using Concur

Case Study: MERS Goodwill recently switched HRIS systems to the SAP Suite. Many in the company are resistant to change and are uncomfortable with technology, with fears that they will do something incorrectly and "break" the system. In order to address this step by step trainings were created in Storyline to match the real system as closely as possible, so that employees would have the chance to do guided practice outside of the system itself in order to reduce fear and resistance.

Title: Employment Specialist Onboarding Course

Case Study: This training is included as part of the onboarding process for Employment Specialists who work on finding job placements for those with employment barriers. It provides an overview of job responsibilities in video and text form, while also providing interactive practice of necessary skills.
Title: Volunteer Dog Walker Training

Client: Personal Portfolio Asset

Tools Used: Articulate Rise
​
Case Study: This training was created to address the fact that there was no standardized training program in place at a local animal shelter. Previously each volunteer was "buddied up" with a seasoned volunteer, depending on who was there at the same time. Volunteers needed to complete 3-5 buddy shifts depending on experience, but there was no way to assess that experience prior to their first shift. This training provides a basic training that can be completed prior to a volunteers first day. It is part of a series of trainings that include ILT for small groups, as well as checklists to track the meeting of objectives.
