I'm Laura, it's nice to meet you!

I began my career in education, working as an elementary school teacher for nearly a decade and a half. During that time I used a lot of different curriculum tools- both self-created and 'boxed' learning. I saw first hand that presenting content in an engaging, interactive, visually appealing way can make or break the audience's learning.

In the fall of 2020, I, much like educators across the US had to quickly pivot to virtual learning. During that time I discovered how much I love created e-learning experiences!

I have recently transitioned out of education and into a Training and Development role at an area nonprofit, where I am lucky enough to develop my own courses- both instructor led and web based. I look forward to continuing my journey as an Instructional Designer!
